As part of the DNS for Secondary Schools Initiative, .ng Academy successfully launched the first phase of its collaboration, equipping young students with essential online safety skills.

On Safer Internet Day 2025, Jessica Alexander led a highly engaging session titled “Staying Safe Online: A Guide for Nigerian Students,” held at New Era Junior Girls Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos. The event saw the participation of over 350 students from 10 schools, reinforcing the importance of cybersecurity awareness among young learners.

This initiative was part of the broader Safer Internet Day 2025 celebrations, organized by the International Centre for Leadership Development (ICLD) Nigeria. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students learned practical steps to protect their digital identities and navigate the online space securely.

By empowering the next generation with digital safety knowledge, .ng Academy remains committed to fostering a more secure and responsible internet culture among Nigerian students.
